Install Wordpress help

Hey, I've got a little problem when trying to install Wordpress on a addon domain I've got.

I keep getting the following error when I try and install it in the main directory.

Quote:

Install WordPress (2/3)

The installation can not be completed:
- You cannot install more than one script in the root directory of a domain.

Click on the browser's Back button to fix reported errors.

However, the directory is empty (Apart from 'cgi-bin').

Does anyone have any ideas on what I need to do?

Hmm if it is empty, then that is very strange. Are you uploading to your root directory or to the addon domain directory? Did you have an previous WP installed through Fantastico (since assuming you are using Fantastico?) and deleted the files manually and not through Fantastico?

Sorry for all the questions. If anything, submit a ticket to support also about this, since they will be able to actually go into your server and see whats up. =)

Hey, yeah I am using Fantastico, should have said before hand.

I never had anything installed in there before, I used to have the domain redirect to a sub-domain and have the WP Installed there, I've deleted everything thats installed using Fantastico. And I'm trying to upload it to the addon domain directory.

I thought I had sent a ticket, but I just hit reply on the email I got about another one, and not sure if it worked, dont want to annoy anyone with all the tickets.

Hmm, well I'm not quite sure what the problem can be, but I would highly suggest adding your ticket ID here, just in case. Sorry I wasn't much help, if I see some more info about it, I'll be sure to post about here.
