Uploading pictures to Gallery v1.4.4-pl2
Hey everyone,
I'm trying to add a gallery to my new site www.SpinningInInfinity.net I choose for Gallery v1.4.4-pl2 http://gallery.menalto.com/ I installed the whole bunch, uploaded everything, chmodded the files who needed to be chmodded. So now I can begin uploading pictures, installed Windows XP Publishing Agent . (I'm running windows xp on my computer..) now i have in the My Pictures folder on my hard disc some picterures i would like to publish, so I tried it using Publishing Agent. But now I can only find the tumbnails in the album folder on the server en no pictures. And the online gallery isn't even showing the tumbnails. Am I doing something wrong? Should I first upload a whole folder with pictures to one of the gallery folders? But then it's showing this message; ---------------------------------------------------- Attention Gallery Administrator! Gallery has detected the following 1 invalid album(s) in your albums directory (/home/billycr/public_html/Gallery/albums): Kermis 2004 (<= name album) Please move it/them out of the albums directory. ------------------------------------------ And I get this error message -------------------------------------- Warning Missing optional binary pnmcomp. Without pnmcomp gallery will not be able to watermark images, except you use ImageMagick and have the composite binary installed. 12 of 13 NetPBM binaries located. ----------------------------------------------------- Is Surpass supporting any of these things? Please help me asap. Esther |

is gallery the one that you can configure to use ImageMagik instead? Try that.
Support can re-install netpbm too, if necessary. John
