Suggestions For phpBB Uninstallation
I installed a phpBB through my cPanel yesterday (was going to do it manually anyway, but it was a nice feature =]), but I've discovered neither phpBB nor the list of mods I skimmed through on their site provide the administration I'm looking for. I'm unfamiliar with PHP and MySQL, so can anyone give me some suggestions on uninstalling phpBB from my site?
While we're on the subject, can anyone suggest some free forum/message board systems? Specifically I'm looking for ones that would allow me customize user group permission masks (for instance, one mask for normal members, one mask for special members that allows them to view and post in certain forums, whereas the previous mask could only view). I know IPBs can do this, but I don't believe there are free versions of those anymore. Any help greatly appreciated!

Well, since you installed it through cPanel, you can uninstall it via cPanel as well. Jso go cPanel > Scripta > phpBB > Remove Existing Installation, and you're done.
