Teamspeak block
I posted this on the reseller forum but got nowhere
Hi Guru's this one will baffle ya. I have a client who has a teamspeak nuke block working on his site, viewed here www.united-assassins.co.uk, now they have a US division of their online gaming squad who is hosted by another company who rents Surpass hosting, viewed here www.united-assassins.com. Now thing is the teamspeak block works fine on the UK site, and any other nuke 7.5 site I run it on, can be viewed also working here www.battleforsupremacy.co.uk. I thought it was because it can only show on one site but alas it can be shown on multiple sites. Now what happened is the US side of things simply uploaded the teamspeak block to the usual spot, changed nothing, and it shows offline, then he sent it to me to check, I uploaded it to the battleforsupremacy site and it works perfectly, I then uploaded it to the UK site and still it works perfectly, but why not on the US site. I am unsure of which server he is on, I do know he has the bronze reseller and I have the silver. It is totally puzzling us as they want the both sites to show their team teamspeak server. Teamspeak is not hosted on surpass, it is actually a dedicated server from another location, the block merely points to the IP address of the server. We can't understand how Bronze and Silver reseller can be that different that it blocks a simple nuke block that pulls up an ip from a different location, it works perfectly on all of my client sites which I am on reseller Silver, pass14, but the other is on Bronze Reseller not sure what server though. Would it help anyone if they had a look at the nuke block? Any ideas guru's???

Does the 'teamspeak' block access certain network ports? If so, it is possible that you need to request support to open those ports on the server hosting your accounts.

So basically Bronze reseller is different than Silver reseller then? as we are both with Surpass, the non working one is on Bronze reseller and the working is on Silver reseller.

They are different, in the space and such that they receive... but it is possible that 'teamspeak' requires a modification to the base server config. John

Hi Bigjohn,
I am the friend that Chico is talking about that is having issues with the Teamspeak Block. I can take a working copy of his script from his site and place it on to my site and it will not work, no matter what I do to it. I have looked over the script in some short detail and I do not see where it would connect to network ports, however I am not very literate to look at code and determine what all it is doing. I know one of the scripts it is talking about sockets, but don't ask me for what. Anyways, we are very much baffled to say the least and any help would be very much appreciated.

sockets=ports many times.
Contact support and ask for assistance. They may need to know what sockets are being used. You can reference the script, and the working site on another surpass server. John
