Is MT changing the permissions of the files when something gets used? That's the only way I can see this happening. It's like MT is changing the file, and setting it with the wrong permissions.

Yeah, that's what I've been trying to tell them but they haven't understood me. I changed the things in the mt.cfg or whatever file also.

I emailed support back and told them what was happening and got this:

Don't worry, I've confused them myself recently. Heh, my response actually made them think the problem was solved so they closed the ticket lol...that was my fault though. They are only human. Except Eman. He's from Jupiter.
And others on the MT forum seem to be having this same problem. I wonder if there is more to the MT workings. I'd install it and test it out but I don't have it.
