WHMCS and PHP suexec - cant login if enabled
Hi,
i read the PHP Suexec thingy and i got convinced to enable it on my server. but now, i cant login to my WHMCS anymore. i double checked everything on the 755 permissions. if i enable the Suexec, i could not login. i would just be redirected to the login page again. if i disable it, i could login without any problems. got any pointers on how to fix this? ![]() thanks |

Hmm, that is rather strange since if you set the permissions to 755 in your WHMCS it should work as if you put 777, which I know is asked by WHMCS when installing. hmmm...

add to add, while enabling - disabling the suexec, i dont change back the 755 permissions. that is, i just left them as is.
im expecting WHMCS to fail at least while suexec is disabled because i have some folders set to 755 instead of 777.. but no errors whatsoever.. |

typically if it's ON (you can query PHPINFO).
If it is, put a .htaccess file that has mod_security=off. ask support, they might be able to do it right away for you.

Hello! This usually happens if the IP that the licence key is issued for changes.
Than a reissue of the licence key would help. How did You enable phpsuexec? Do you enable "SuPHP" in WHM-panel ? ( cPanel - Easy Apache 3 & PHP - Configuration of How Apache Serves PHP Requests )

hi all,
got the problem sorted out now. it turned out that i misconfigured the php suexec in WHM. what i did was i just set the SuExec to ON, and left the PHP Handler to CGI. It should have been SuPHP as pointed out by psfrog ![]() Quote:
