questions about upgrade..
I need to upgrade my server from a pentium 4 to a dual Xeon..
when you upgrade, is there any downtime? if there is, how much? and also, i had a really bussy Php forum in my server, an my question is, what is more important in a forum, the ram of the server? or the processor? well, i hope that you can help me.., sorry for the spanglish.. ![]()

There would be downtime when they change the hardware..
How much i have no idea Not very much i would guess.. And. RAM is most important when it comes to MySQL-queries. (Which your forum creates loads of) But CPU is a important thing to. But. It won't do you any good with great proccessor without enough RAM. So be sure to have enough RAM on your box. ![]()
