Irish

Irish was born on December 22, 2004 at 11:32pm EST. Irish is a P4 2.4GB with 1024GB DDR RAM and Dual 80GB HD.

Irish got it's name from it's owner, Tracer Round, who is Irish and needs all the luck he can get to keep Irish up and running smoothly.

15 hours after it's born, Tracer Round finally gets to start setting it up. One hour later, he lockes himself out of SSH.

I should go down there an take a picture of it, if they will let me. It wouldn't take that long. It's only like 30 miles.

When I first saw that, I thought "The load average hasn't gone down? And that's a good thing? What, is he bragging about his server being busy? It doesn't even seem like a very high load..."

Then I figured it out.

Well, I am not sure yet what happened but my server restarted itself. It was up for 78 days which is the first time it was started when I got it back in December.

I guess. I never was told if anything happened but I guess it wasn't important. I just got the usual Apache, ftpd, exim, etc. is down emails.

That reminds me, can I use Cron to run a program so like if the server restarts, it will automatically start the program again? I am talking about my gameservers that run in screens.
