Creating reseller packages

Hi,

I wanna create some reseller packages but first I'd like to ask you something...

Here in Surpass a reseller (main account) gets a free account with 10 gb bandwidth.

How can I do that?

I'm in doubt... I need to create a package with 10 gb and after it I create an account with this package. I modify this account to a reseller adding Reseller Privileges and I limit bandwidth and space in Reseller Center? Is that it?
Or do I need to create a package with all bandwidth and space that this reseller account will use?

Thank you!

You cant create reseller packages enless you have a dedicated server. But you can create shared accounts though.

I'm assuming that since Tigerlily created this post in the "Dedicated Servers & Colocation" forum, that Tigerlily is a dedicated or a colocated customer.

There is another thread around here somewhere where that same question is asked and answered. I've tried but can't find it nor do I remember the answer.

Sorry.

1. Create the account just like any shared account assigning the package to it with the resources you'd like it to have (10 Gb bandwidth).
2. Go to the reseller center and add reseller privileges with the resources for reselling that you'd like. These will be separate from the accounts hosting package. The resources, such as storage and bandwidth for reselling will not affect the accounts shared hosting resources and can be changed at any time.

If you decide at some point to add storage for the main account, you must do this by changing the accounts resources by assigning it a new package or by modifying the account. If you want to increase or decrease the accounts reseller resources, you must do this using the reseller center. Changes made to the account in the reseller center will have no effect on the accounts shared hosting resources
