I have a dedicated with surpass. The support is great, managed route fantastic, admins excellent, uptime awesome (apart from one week in which there was network issues and it went down 10 times a day for 7 con secutive days) but since then its been awesome.

I can't really thank surpass enough for how much they have helped me, and they have been great, even though I have probably been a nightmare of a client at times.

Anyway, the only issue I do have with my server is the upstream speed, on average the max I can get downloading from my server is 220 kb/s even though all my others are low traffic sites. This is a problem I'd love to be resolved, despite being offered servers by other companies with higher network speeds, but the reasons why I have stayed with you guys is because you are reliable and your support is second to none.

Hey guys, I know I've been pretty silent lately. I've been working insane hours and blah,blah,blah...you know how it is. Life get's crazy and you tend to not be as loud as you used to be. But I've been lurking still and thought I would pipe up on this one.

I've been on a dedicated for many, many months now and I did have a few minor issues in the beginning but it was related more to the setup and install of the server than to any real downtime. Support has always been quick, friendly, and helpful - end of discussion. There has not been a problem that they have not solved in a timely and professional manner.

As for uptime, there's going to be a little downtime no matter what kind of neighbor you are to yourself. Lines get disconnection, trees fall on transformers, whatever. We are not in a perfect world sadly and so there's going to be problems here and there. Having said that, I am very proud to report that my server recently went 5 months with 100% uptime!!

The other months that I did not have 100% uptime, I did not go below 99.9%. I monitor my server with Site Uptime every 2 minutes. There was ONE time when I dropped below the 99.9% and that was during those crazy hurricanes and let's face it, completely understandable. All in all, I am VERY pleased with my decision to move to an SDS (Surpass Dedicated Server). <--- Look, I just made up my own acronym...feel free to market that!
