Hey guys, instead of referring to servers by IP number, we usually use their names. You can match the names up with the IP at: http://www.surmunity.com/reseller-hosting-notices/
please also put that server name and a website in your signature. As far as the slow ping times go, I personally am getting a slightly higher then average, but still low comparitvely one, at 87. What you should be sure to do is a traceroute to the IP address, and find out where along the lines the ping jumps up. If it only does when you get into Surpass (so at the last hop) then it's probably an internal thing. But if it jumps before then, it's somewhere a long the line that's the problem, probably out of Surpass control. The quick tracenet I did shows a jump before hitting the datacenter... but my levels are still pretty normal regardless.

It jumps high at level3, so it's also something Surpass should look at, since they changed to Level3

I will monitor it and diagnose it when it happens again but as others have said the ping is dependant on the other providors which are along the path to our network

As you can see uses your trace an other route then the one from The Netherlands, my alter.net should look into the routing outside the US.
