DNS clustering & other features with server
Does ClamAV Scanner come configured with the servers? leech protect? Box Trapper? I couldnt remember if they did or not when I had mine. I dont think they did but im not sure.
I am also interested in purchasing another server here seeing as how my site is going to use over 2 TB of BW this month. One question. How do I go about distributing the bandwidth load between the two servers. I am assuming I need to use DNS clustering for this. I want to duplicate just my one site account on the other server. How does DNS clustering work? If a user uploads a file to the second server is it updated on the first server? The site is about to be 100% dynamic with stats and files being uploaded very often. Is it possible for their to be conflicts between the two servers? Thanks in advance for your help.

So there wont be any conflics? or could be? I forgot to mention that I just want to have one account on both servers and have the rest stay on the same one. I also want the other server to be able to have other accounts along with the one I am "clustering?." Is this possible? ![]() |

We can do server load balancing for you but dns cluster isn't the way to do it
![]() Basically say your site is called files.com you can use files.com for your first server and create mirror2.files.com for server 2. I am assuming you are using a lot of bandwidth due to files being downloaded or images of some sort. Basically link half of your content using mirror2.files.com and it will use the second server's bandwidth for that etc etc. That will 1. distribute your bandwidth between both servers 2. distribute your server load between both servers |

I dont know if placing files on seperate subdomains will work. I am using coppermine and users will be allowed to upload files themselves (I hope) but it has to be in the on the same server for files to be uploaded. If a php coder wants to help me mod it for me I could do it :p but as of now it wont work. Would round robbin dns work?
