I used putty and entered everything, and it came up in my list of themes. But when I tried to apply it... I got a 404 error in cPanel:

"The server was not able to find the document (./frontend/x2/index.html) you requested
Please check the url and try again. You might also want to report
this error to your webhost."

Did I do something wrong?

Yes, you did.

The name of the theme isn't "x2" -- it is "xcontroller"

Try accessing the account using just domain.com/cpanel OR change the name of the theme after the /frontend/ bit...

Aric

Thanks the 'domain.com/cpanel' worked, but for some reason, even though I followed the steps about 3 times.... it still comes out as a 404, saying 'x2'. but now that I know how to access it so it works. All the better
