CPU Usage
I have a server with two active (I wouldn't say overly busy, but they ain't quiet, put it that way) sites. Normal CPU usage hovers between 0.5 and 2.5 depending on the time of day.
Recently, I get odd occassions when the servers CPU usage goes absolutely through the roof (up to 15 or more). When I look to see why, its something to do with awstats doing a config or an update or something. It happened a couple of minutes ago when we were in the middle of an event we run, typical, lol It only lasts for about 20mins or so, but is there a way of changing the time it does this, or is there nothing I can do?

Take Two
My server is currently this; Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 1.80GHz Memory: 512MB DDR System Memory Storage: Single 80GB Hard Drive Transfer: 1,200 GB per month 1. How do I go about upgrading it? 2. Do I have to pay setup fee if I move up a level or just increase the monthly outgoings or any other fees? 3. How long with my sites be inaccessible during the upgrade process? Reason I ask is that server ain't even on the list anymore. This is the lowest one. Intel Celeron 2.4 Ghz 400Mhz Bus Memory: 512MB DDR System Memory Storage: Single 80GB Hard Drive Transfer: 1,200 GB per month Anyway, I think I need to upgrade, because if the current server cant cope with my site now (how the hell that works when there is at the most 30 - 40 members on there, and the other sites are not that busy), then it definately won't when I double my membership levels running up to xmas. Anyway, hope this gets some replies, lol

If you open up WHM (If you did get WHM when you got the server), and then on the left click "Statistics Software configuration" and then you can change from there, how many hours between updates. If you then click on "Configure Statistics Process Time Schedule" you can change what hours that you do not want it to update (Say if your site is particularily active at a certain time of day).
To change servers, you should contact the help desk I believe, and they will be able to give you more information on the process of upgrading. http://desk.surpasshosting.com

Dew, you are a legend. I am gonna try that out for a while, see if that cures my problems. Thankyou for pointing me in the right direction. Greatfully appreciated.
