You can see if it is a 2.4 by logging in to the server via WHM panel and click at "Server information" (below "Server status"), or by SSH and type

.

Sorry about that, the template sometimes is defaulted to 1.7 but it should be a 2.4 physically in the server.

psfrog mentioned the perfect place to find out
