VPS host machine?

Hi , what is host machine specification (ram, drives, port speed, backup) for VPS accounts?
How can it compare with dedicated, egz. VPS vs. P2/3 dedi?

still not sure any VPS can be a substutite for a dedi... but dedi expensive

VPS is not meant to be substutited for dedi in terms of performance for busy sites. Vps is meant for more control over your hosting in terms of security, reliablity and uptime.

Since the VPS limits each vps client to their resources most of the time clients see their sites who are busy with issues due to the cpu/memory limitations.

If your looking for a vps for more control then go for it. If you have busy sites to host do not waste your time with VPS it is not meant for that.
