Post Did account setup fail?

I recently signed up for VPS. I have a shared account already under a different email address... Might keep both for a little while with some domains on one and some on the other.

I got an email from supportsurpasshosting.com
Subject: Surpass Hosting: Signup Invoice/Receipt for Brian Bustin
Message: --

I want to make sure the order went through properly. When I set up my other account, the invoice email was populated with info.

I understand account setup may take some time, I am just inquiring as to whther the order went through properly.

Did not get a response, and figured I may have sent the ticket to the wrong department, so I created a high priority ticket for the sales group:

When did you place your order? I just placed one a little while ago myself. Still waiting for a welcome email.

But note the network Surpass is no seems to have been having some lag for at least a few days now so maybe that is slowing things with all this too.

Skipdawg,

I placed my order last night. The support email came in at around 6:15p. I think that was only about 5-10 minutes after the order went through. The strange thing is that the content of the email was only two dashes. '--' It seems like something might not be working.

Hopefully both of our orders went through properly.

Yea I hope all is well. I debated doing it at all. Just was not sure. Been a hour now here and no email from Surpass at all.

I guess if it hits 2 hours I'll drop a ticket.

I still have not gotten any responses to the tickets. One was entered at 10 this morning. I have a feeling that the payment did not go through properly, as my welcome email was blank save '--'.

Can someone please confirm that the payment information did in fact go through, and that the account is in the process of being created?

Yes, I have one from around 10:20AM today and then created another around 3:30PM today. I have gotten no response to either. I have to say that at the moment I am pretty dissappointed.

I understand that account creation can take some time; however, one of my tickets has been out there for around 9 hours with no response, and It's been 24 hours with no contact except for an odd email.

Surpass needs to examine their process. All I need is to know that the payment went through properly, and they are working on it. That they have not answered the tickets is extremely poor.

Well I'm wondering if something is going on with the network someplace. Forum is dragging yet I see no issues with a ping or tracert?

And with tickets dropped a quick reply usually come in less than 2 minutes for me.

I'm going to be patient and wait for the 4 hour mark for I have protection on my credit card so not worried there. But at 4 hours will drop a ticket to query payment confirmation and see if I get a quick reply back then. Just shy 3 hours now.
