Need advise on next move. - Page 3

Just to compare, the following are my paths for avatars:

Directory field:
/home/bbpinlis/public_html/smf/avatars

URL field:
http://www.bbpinlist.com/smf/avatars

note the domain field in the directory - it's the cpanel login name (it's truncated from the full domain name - i.e. bbpinlis vs bbpinlist)

yea i had looked at that cowboy. But what ever is going on seems to be starting to resolve it's self. I am now seeing the avatars at least.

Maybe as my brother stated the DNS went wacky on me??? But yea just refreshed and in both the forums the avatars are showing now.

So I better not touch anything and just let this play out. Weird. Ghost in the machine or did john and David let the gremlins out? lol

Shoot I don't know which one I'm on. Tracert done not show you like it did with the shared servers. Not in the welcome email either. OK where am I and who am I?

Also what IP is skipdawgcentral.net resolving to for you all?

It was all fine but now showing the sh76 IP again for me ???

OK that is where the others are showing and I should be but for me a tracert show skipdawgcentral.net back at 8.10.120.85

Just tried 2 other online places beside the Windows tracert? Now I do believe DNS has gone crazy!!!

Just double checked WHM and my registrar and all is fine there.

Must be some kind of DNS oddity on how some tools read it.

This place is pulling all them all up correctly to
72.29.89.160.
