HAVE GONE DEDI!

Yes, a day I've been looking forward to since I first found a more serious view on webdesign (like a year or two ago), is having the power a server gives.

Well, took up the higher end server of the sale and it is great. I'm also one of the few that had the 160gb HDDs, since Surpass ran out of the 160gb HDDs today haha.

Well, I am new to dedi, so I have questions. Not many, since I've had experience with WHM and all, but where do I find the place to edit reseller's WHM powers? Cause, it is at default, and one of my account's (with reseller power) has no real power in WHM heh.

Thank you!

Haha, I've been there thinking that is where it is. However, it said Edit Privileges/Nameservers, and all I saw was Edit and Nameservers. Heh, too much excitment!

Thanks for the help Dewknight

Hm, another question. How can I allow a reseller I make to have their own custom nameservers? Do I set the nameservers up in WHM, or does the reseller specify their nameservers via their WHM?

I know about the registar configuration part, just wanna know how to allow a reseller custom dns, and what the IPs are (do they use one of the 4 IPs given to me, or is it the same IPs my server's nameservers use?)

Anyone know how to create custom nameserver on a reseller account of a dedicated server, and what IPs would be used (ones given to dedicated server's nameserver IPs, or is it one of my 4 extra IPs)?

well your first IP is shared.. cant use it... your second and third IP are already used for nameservers.

but its probably just a matter of going to your registrar and registering the custom name server with the registrar, using the IPs of your current name servers.

I'm pretty sure it can be done, use two IP's for all nameservers.. I have no idea how though...
