Uploading to IP addy but cant view - help

I am uploading via FTP to my IP address, and then try to access this 'test site' by using http://72.29.80.xxx/~username

but it doesnt work, rather, it resolves to:

http://72-29-80-xxx.dimenoc.com/~d3scoreb/

and gives me "Server not found" error.

Am I doing something wrong?

NEVERMIND turns out you need a slash at the end after ~username

http://72.29.80.xxx/~username/ <-- this will work

Yes trailing / is mostly always needed.
