upgrade server - less impressed ..

honestly i dont like to write like this in here, but since i have a problem in my server, and have no idea what is the solution and want a little bit attention from the support, voila....

i have a problem with server overload in the past, and Eman told me to upgrade my server. finally i did upgrade my server. i though i would have my dreams come true and less headache because of the problem and avoid hassle asking support all the time as i live in different timezone, sometimes takes hours for a simple communication.

I upgrade two days ago, since then the server going off and on, mostly off. first support tell me that there is hardware problem, then they fixed it (but it still takes 24 hours for the action). now the problem arise again, server going on and off and its even worst than my old server. latest state is i cant ping the server, i cant do analyze or anything if server going offline. i need communication with support...sighh

i am operating large photography community, 48 hours downtime is unacceptable. they pay me for their subscription. some of them are cancelled their membership in the past because of unstable server, now some more are cancelling their membership, i am losing my money and i feel desperate with the situation ....

lol well if you offered a little more info regarding the problem, im sure myself and others could offer an opinion. As it stands no one but kayla and eman can help you here, which kinda defeats the purpose since they also answer the helpdesk tickets?

well, honestly i dont know exactly the problem as i am not really expert in server things. but i can tell you the simptoms is like server always in high load eventhough i checked with top command in SSH, there are only mysql and exim which last only couple seconds, i dont think these process will make server always in high load. so basically i have no idea whats wrong with the new server, except maybe hardware failure like one of the support told me ..

Dimenoc is the datacenter.

Check running processes with 'ps' as well.

What is a high load for your server?

How many sites/users are on your server?

From WHM can you tell which processes are the most load intensive?

What software are you using?

Are you using the latest updates for the software installed?

ah now i understand, because i am still in upgrading process thats why its always guys from dimenoc/datacenter whom i have to talk to, while surpass support doesnt really "updated" on my situation. ok now i got response from dimenoc guys, said that my harddrive is getting bad after upgrade server, they have installed fresh OS and will restore old data to the new one ... i must wait couples hours to get all things done ..
