Spam Emails Sent From My Box

Hi guys,

I notice that my server has been sending spam/bulk emails lately. I have enabled phpsuexec to find out who sent out the emails, but it shows "root". Any better way to trace down and detect the unauthorize users?

Please advise, this is getting outrages... It gives a bad reputation on my box.

Consult support. They may be able to help you hammer this down before someone in the forum comes along with an answer.

RIght. Somehow your SMTP is configured as an open relay. That, or root is compromised by some script. either of which are BAD.
