How long, typically?

Just wondering about how long does it take (typically) to setup a dedicated server?

Also, the email address I used to sign up is currently on the domain that I used to sign up. When the welcome email gets sent, will it be sent after the server is setup? If it is sent after the server is setup, will it also be sent to the alternate email provided during the signup?

servers are usually setup within 24 hours of payment if it isn't a custom setup.
Activation email will be sent to the email you used to sign up after it is activated.
It will not be sent to secondary email unless you specifically ask.
