nameserver question

Hi i got my dedi and all YAY

anyway i got a question bout nameservers

in the email it says this

NS Nameservers:

ns1.freelivefooty.com >> 66.7.197.151
ns2.freelivefooty.com >> 66.7.197.152

.:If you want to use custom DNS servers, you MUST contact your registrar and have them register the ns1 and ns2 with the respective IPs above. If you fail to do this, your custom dns will never work. Most registrars have a control panel where you can register the ns1 and ns2 with IPs to make it a valid dns. Our domain management site is www.surpassdomains.com, if you registered the domain with us, you can register the dns there. If your registrar does not have the cability to register custom dns for domains, please register a new domain or transfer your current domain to www.surpassdomains.com. Once you have completed that, you will be able to register custom dns.

Do i need to do anything because i went on namecheap (my place my domains at) and clicked on Nameserver Registration

and assigned the ips etc and it said error ip already assigned, so i looked and it was to another ip.

So i changed them, is all ok now? will it work ok...

It looks like you've set them up correctly as they're both currently resolving to the correct IP addresses!

you'll be able to find out in a few hours...

So, open a comand prompt in windows.
at the prompt type "ping ns1.freelivefooty.com". It should resolve and show 66.7.197.151

yup it all worked ok, first dedicated server hehe was getting confused :p
