Now all sites down on my VPS-5!

Well now all my sites are down and cPanel. I can get to WHM and the VPS control panel how ever. I am seeing no cause for this. But it being new ticket has been dropped. LFN-160302

Yes I was hoping to spend some time on the forums. Nothing on TV. They just better not think of telling me again nothing is wrong.

I know Surpass is new to VPS but they have had time to figure out the bugs by now.

Looking at the VPS, it has something to do with named?

named (BIND) is a Domain Name Server (DNS) that is used to resolve host names to IP addresses.
On this screen you may start, stop, or restart your named service, depending on its current state.
Also you may enable/disable service's Autostart option.

Yea I'm now showing named (9.2.4) failed. Right before that server load went over 14 and the CPU was spiked at 100%

It definitely has something to do with that. Getting this email every 5 minutes or so:

named failed Sat Aug 26 01:20:33 2006. A restart was attempted automagicly.

Tried restarting it in WHM and the result is:
Code:
named has failed, please contact the sysadmin (result was "named is not running"). Aug 26 01:23:34 vps named: failed Aug 26 01:23:34 vps named[25963]: starting BIND 9.2.4 -u named -t /var/named/chroot Aug 26 01:23:34 vps named[25963]: using 4 CPUs Aug 26 01:23:34 vps named[25965]: loading configuration: failure Aug 26 01:23:34 vps named[25965]: exiting (due to fatal error) Aug 26 01:23:34 vps named: named startup failed

Well Max B from support is looking into my ticket now. Lets see if he can resolve it or dose it get bumped up to level 3 Admin?

Hay first time in 3 months a ticket has been replied to in under a hour besides the auto reply. LaughLaughLaugh

Think they clued into that I'm going from annoyed over this to pissed?
