Lag due to packet loss issue? VPS5

Anyone one else seeing site lag due to packet loss issues in the Dimenoc network?
Particularly on VPS5 but anyone where else too I guess could be helpful.

Seeing a 33 loss with an occasion jump to 67% loss on sometime both of these IP's
72.29.89.138 & 72.29.89.160

What ever was the cause it was not just slowing down the forums. for some page loads were freezing up. I saw post in other areas with folks having network issues in th South East USA today though.

But I went out and had some fun in the sun and when I returned all was fine. hehehe

Yeah.. I was having some weird behavior here at home (earlier was at work).. I couldn't ping my site (timeout's), yet I could browse around it fine.. tracert utilities were behaving wacky... rebooting didn't fix it, then powered off my cable modem and re-established connection. pings and tracerts seem to work ok now. Weird.. course who knows with my ISP changing from Cox to Suddenlink Communications.. still on Cox backbone though. College Students also returning to town and there have been Cox trucks in the area last several days..

Anyway, off to watch Mythbusters and then Dr Who.

Yea so far my sites are acting right today and have seen no packet loss yet but the ms has been more than double the norm. A ms range of 250 to 300 peaking on the VPS5 IP for minutes at a time then dropping back to normal many times this morning now.
