VPS problems and a few Questions?? - Page 2

I have a friend who is on the same VPS as I am and his sites have been going down at the same time as mine.

not possible, are you sure it is the same vps?

I am pretty sure as we have the same site IP

each vps has unique ips so if he has the same ip as you then he must be hosted in your own vps, if he has his own vps account he should have different ips

Well at the moment I am just wishing someone would reply to my ticket , I haven't heard anything since this afternoon and my site is still going down and I can't get into my cpanel at all..The last thing support told me was:

I just checked our IP's are 72.29.83. ending in different numbers but the whole front of the IP's are exact..I seem to be using dns 1034 and 1035 and he is using dns 1032 and 1033

Yea that doesn't mean you are on the same VPS at all

your vps was exceeding memory thus why mysql and cpanel would shut down
by itself due to no more memory. This is now solved.
