HUGE problem after upgrade

I have already sent in a support ticket. well several actually, outlining the problems. It has been over 14 hours and this is a major issue. I tried everything I could think of to get the ticket noticed, to no avail. So now I am going to ask for help here. I NEED this resolved before the xmas weekend.

I run a store on my server that sells egoods, these have to be downloaded from zip files stored in my store directory. At some point in the copy from my old shared account to our new deidcated one, my store and gallery disappeared completely and they were able to get them back. It was after THIS that I noticed that the download directory no longer has almost 30GB of products, the whole store is only 8GB and the download directory is empty. I have had orders for these products, not to mention a CHARITY project for kids with cancer that customers need to access.

One thing I noticed is that the download directory to the store is CH MOD at 751, which is weird because that is not even the default setting. When I try to change it through FTP and ALSO through Cpanel I get an error about : [a fatal error or timeout occurred while processing this directive].

If someone could help me, this would be greatly appreciated. I do not know what to do... I have upset customers and I, as a customer here, was garaunteed that this transfer would be seamless and I would experience no down time. After $200 I would certainly hope to get better response to urgent requests than having to wait 14 hours.

Don't create new tickets or post in the ticket unless someone has responded. Doing so will put the ticket at the bottom of the stack. If one of the admins comes on the forums they will look up your ticket ID and help you, but the only thing you can really do is wait unless you have the old account name and server IP, in which case you mihgt be able to log into the old acct on the shared server, and download what you need, then upload it.

I had a secondary issue come up at the same time. Not being able to repsond with more information seems a bit ridiculous. It seems to me the 24 hour support doesnt really exist because getting anything done after 7pm or before 9 am just doesnt happen anymore.

If its a second issue, you could put in a new ticket, I think the downloads are probably more important than the chmod issue though. What was your old server and username?

the downloads are more important BUT they wont work properly even if they are there with the folder CH MOD to 751. I upgraded a couple of time recently before going dedicated side and am unsure what server I was hosted on.

The only welcome email I have is the one that was sent when I went to a dedicated a few days ago. I have been with usrpass for over a year on this account and two years on another one. I dont seem to have those welcome emails anymore.

Is the PHP version the same?

What happens when you attempt to CHMOD the folder with SSH.
