connection errors

as of lately, i've been receiving a lot of connection errors on my for my forum - http://www.perfect-illusions.com/is

this is the message that comes up
Quote:
Connection Problems
Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later.
also, http://www.perfect-illusions.com/ispics - my gallery - doesn't connect

i contacted support and they increased the number of users allowed to the max connects to mysql databases but that didnt seem to work.

and then i just received this in my email twice - both messages 40 messages apart.

cpsrvd failed Thu Jan 11 19:49:03 2007. A restart was attempted automagicly.
mysql failed Thu Jan 11 20:07:21 2007. A restart was attempted automagicly.

this happens randomly and downtime increases each time. i cant seem to figure it out. i can have 92 users online at once and have no connection errors but when i have about 50 users online i get so many errors. anyone have any advice?

i've already submitted a ticket - #OMJ-185963

Curious.
I'm on PASS3 and have a similar issue with a SMF forum ("Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later. ")

A little encouraged to see that it's not the .htaccess voodery I had been messing with days earlier...

Dose this issue only last a few minutes or less? If so it could be the MySQL just restarting. I have seen that every now and then and would seem to be the case for me.
