cpanel backups

On a dedicated server, will I be able to import cPanel full backups?

For example, I have a reseller account. I want to move one of my child accounts from that reseller to the dedicated server. Currently, even as a reseller, if I wish to move one cpanel account to another, I have to have support do this. Once I get a dedicated server, will I be able to perform this function?

I have discovered this to be a "yes". Next question will be how to restore said back up into a "reseller" style account. Perhaps this will be a little more straight forward once I have to do this, which will be very soon.

Hello! If you have a dedicated server there is a feature in WHM-panel called "Transfers".
You can choose "Copy an account from another server" and fill out the accountname you wish to copy at the remote server.

WHM will then create one (or several) tar-file(s) of the account at the remote server and download it(them) to the "local" server. After that unzip the file(s) and do a restore of the account (create it and restore all files and settings).

Thanks. I made the full backup, moved it manually and restored it. I also notice how to associate one account with a reseller account, too.
