I have a client who has an shared account on my dedi box. She is trying to send an email from work (workaddress
whatever.com) to home (homeaddress mac.com) <-- this is important because: The user gets a returned message that the mail message has 'gone into the mail queue'So I checked the queue and get: ##################################### message 1HJeGY-00020H-1F is not frozen delivering 1HJeGY-00020H-1F Connecting to smtp-mx7.mac.com [17.250.244.62]:25 ... connected SMTP<< 452 try later SMTP>> QUIT LOG: MAIN SMTP error from remote mail server after initial connection: host smtp-mx7.mac.com [17.250.244.62]: 452 try later Connecting to smtp-mx8.mac.com [17.250.244.64]:25 ... connected SMTP<< 452 try later SMTP>> QUIT LOG: MAIN SMTP error from remote mail server after initial connection: host smtp-mx8.mac.com [17.250.244.64]: 452 try later Connecting to smtp-mx6.mac.com [17.250.244.63]:25 ... connected SMTP<< 452 try later SMTP>> QUIT LOG: MAIN SMTP error from remote mail server after initial connection: host smtp-mx6.mac.com [17.250.244.63]: 452 try later Connecting to smtp-mx5.mac.com [17.250.244.61]:25 ... connected SMTP<< 452 try later SMTP>> QUIT LOG: MAIN SMTP error from remote mail server after initial connection: host smtp-mx5.mac.com [17.250.244.61]: 452 try later LOG: MAIN == XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX mac.com <XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX mac.com> R=lookuphost T=remote_smtp defer (0): SMTP error from remote mail server after initial connection: host smtp-mx5.mac.com [17.250.244.61]: 452 try laterReturn to Mail Queue ################ Now i have done some research here: http://climber.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=58 and they say that certain domains (ie mac.com, yahoo.com) do not accept messages, but does not give any specifics why. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHY? Any help or past experience with this would help a lot! |
