Hey look! It's D.Shak posting back to a juicy thread of ranting on SurpassHosting's support! However, this time is a pleasantly surprising instance.

SurpassHosting support & I eventually managed to get my dedicated server running fast & stable, and I have had little-to-no need for support in months. Unfortunately, there have been a couple issues recently. I would like to publicly thank and praise Alex (Server Analyst II), Nick (position unknown), and Dennis (Server Analyst I). Their response times ranged from several minutes to under 1.5 hours, which is good and much better than many of the prior support experiences prior to several months ago.

I'm pleased to have received support from those people, and the most recent response times resolve one of my biggest & most bitter complaints (support time and quality). Aside from a couple brief outages that were handled promptly & professionally, SurpassHosting is reestablishing themselves [in my opinion] as one of the best companies with which to host internet services.

Thanks to everyone at SurpassHosting, especially Eman V., Kayla F., Mike K., and everyone else who has felt my wrath during tougher times. I feel that my complaints and feedback have been heard & addressed. I hope that this message puts a smile on all your faces and gives you strength & energy to keep up the good work in an "onward & upward" positive trend for yourselves & the SurpassHosting (and Dime) business!

Best regards,
D.Shak

Posts like this are needed around here. It really bothers me when people only bother to post the negative things, but don't take the time to share when something good actually happens.

Hi Fury. Thanks for telling us what bothers you; we needed that extra little shot of negativity to balance out my extra-positive prior post.

If you read my previous posts, I have always acknowledged the strengths of SurpassHosting, even when I was upset about other particulars.

While I know positivity is generally appreciated, if my recent support experiences are now the norm here, then SurpassHosting must be doing quite well with plenty of satisfied customers :-)
