OS options on purchase

Just been looking at picking up a dedicated and the pages list debian etc. as available but the selections on the forms do not.
Can someone please confirm what OS's are actually available and for what packages/servers.
Also, anyone use auto update?

Thanks.

Not sure if anyone would prefer this to be in the pre-purchase area as it does not show as a new post otherwise....

We can set up Debian for you. Just go ahead and submit a ticket to sales, and they'll get it taken care of for you.

Out of the OS options available which is the best choice as far as being the most secure? Are they all good making it just a personal preference?

Thanks,
Chad

Most major distributions should work just fine. We recommend CentOS since this is what we run on all shared and reseller hosting servers.

Every distribution has its individual merits. Mostly it comes down to personal preference. Security is mostly up to you.

Go with the CentOS option because as Removed said they are most experienced with CentOS.
