Downtime on VPS.1

I'm on VPS.1 and I'm having tons of trouble with my VPS recently.

I have not done anything, infact, in the past year I've gone from 7 software that uses php/sql to just 3. I now have half as many visitors going to my site as well as half the bandwidth used. I think I would be just fine on shared

BUT

I want the reliability that VPS offer that shared doesnt if one account is messing up everything. But so far, VPS has been a total mess for me and its pissing me off. Every other day my site is down for about 3 hours (thats how long it takes support to get my ticket, someone reads it then I wait another hour while it gets to level 3 support).

Website down for 12-20 hours a week is unacceptable! Especially in the afternoon when 20 something people gets on the website in the afternoon.

I am just wasting money here at this point. Also, 1 of the software I have rarely gets visited, and even if it makes a call to sql service or w/e, it won't punch the server to damnation.

Really don't know what is going on. I have no idea if its the cpanel 11 updates going around but I do not have that installed and really don't want to since it uses up more memory.

The good days of 50+ days of uptime is gone.

I'm still paying 45 dollars without the ram upgrade and I'd go higher in the plans but its hard enough to pay it. It's also hard enough for members to send in donations if the site isn't up enough to get the usual people to send in donations for reliability.

Are you having them monitor yours? They are monitoring mine after they fixed my DNS issue and so far so good. But the jury will stay out till I see a full 30 days with no problems. Even the forum members seem surprised.

Support said another user was causing massive load to the server. Still didn't answer any of the 3 other questions I put in the ticket /sigh

Surpass had my VPS running pretty awesome until I outgrew it. Stay on to of support; repeat questions if you have to. They should be able to accommodate you eventually.

Just be patient. Keep sending tickets, they will solve it soon.
