I Guess Sunday is Problem Day
Last weekend I had problems with my servers having weird connection problems, throughout the day going high in ping or being unresponsive. Contacted support, the problem resolved, although they didn't do anything. They responded to the ticket saying they didn't see any problems.
Now this Sunday morning, another issue with connections. One IP on one of the servers is unresponsive. How does that even happen? I can ping the remaining 3 ips on the system and get a normal response, ping the particular ip and get timeouts. I ssh into 2 of my other servers, one pings the IP fine and can load webpages off of it, the other gets the same response my local computer does. My site is active 24/7, and the particular IP runs subdomains that hosts the CSS and JavaScript and user images, functionality and aesthetics are in the poopshoot. I hate feeling helpless ![]()

Have you tried tracerouting to the ip when you are having problems? That will help you to determine if there is an ISP connection issue or an issue on the server itself. Have you been noticing any high loads on the server or any patters to this downtime?
