Cool Vps Upgrading!

Hi.
Im thinking of upgrading to VPS so i can dish out resellers to people,
however im not good when it comes to servers and so on, are the VPS' managed?
and if i was to upgrade for the first month could i just pay the difference to what i payed for my reseller (does that make sense?)

All our servers are fully managed as long as you are using the cpanel the comes installed by us.

Some people get dedicated servers and don't use cpanel at all or something like that. Those servers only have limited management because we didn't install their system and therefore don't know it.

As for the billing you may have to ask our accounting department about that because VPS billing and shared billing are two completely different systems so you will be signing up for a new account.

Surpass is really good with managing the VPS's. With my customers or friends I would get some questions I was unsure about, all I had to do was fill out a ticket and support would help me out. It's good to know that you're not left in the dark because the amount of options in WHM with a reseller hosting versus a VPS/dedicated account is huge.

Thanks. :-)

I'd say there's like 3x as many features available in WHM after upgrading to a VPS. A little overwhelming... but there's a lot of help documents on everything. Also each feature is pretty well described so you know what to play with and what not to touch. If you're unsure just ask support about it.

The best way to go about it is just to look for features you need to use, and probably look around the WHM to learn what it is about. Essentially, it just offers more features to control your server, but in many cases, you don't even need to use them. All features from the reseller are there, so no worries.
