WHM Bug (high load)

The new update WHM 11.15.0 cPanel 11.17.0-C19434 has a bug in the cpsrvd-ssl daemon if you are logged into WHM for a long period of time it will use up all of your CPU resources.

I noticed this on my dedicated also. I had to restart the whm service a couple times because of it.

thats the risk for running CURRENT in the development tree. Try STABLE or RELEASE and you'll be less likely to get bugs like that. RELEASE would be my recommendation. I know i havent encountered this issue, and ill leave cpanel/whm open indefinitely at home.

A lot of others on the cpanel.net forums are running both Stable and Release are having the same problems also while others running the same are not. Seems hit or miss on this bug. They (cpanel) were even advising to update to the Edge tree to get the fix but even that didn't work for some.
