SCP vs SFTP

I've heard that SCP is faster than SFTP when copying files...
I was wondering if this was true or not.

They should be very close to the same. They tie into the same library for the actual communication.

rsync 3 is my personal preferred method :-)

I've heard of rsync before, just never looked into what it actually was...
