It's not that they "get through", just that they create so many requests that the servers / network has no time for any other (real) requests

I had this problem today as well. One of my staff members reported that my site went down for about 20 minutes during the day. I hope this doesn't happen again!

i cant say the last time there was a ddos attack for sure but i know there was an issue a few years ago and hardware was put in place to negate it .. and as far as i know there hasnt been an issue since. if there is an upgrade needed be certain surpass will look after it.

I noticed it but noone on my server reported any problems. I guess they were all at lunch (LOL!).

NovaRod (Central Time...lunch time here is from 12:03 CT - 12:42 CT +/- 5 minutes)
