Can someone help... new dedi #2

i set up a new dedi a few days ago. When they send me the email, isn't the main ip address suppose to go somewhere? I get "Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at ip". I need to transfer a client to the new server tonight. Please help if you can. Also I set the new account up and should you be able to use ip/~account/ to view? It works on my other server this way. i turned in a support ticket, but it has to go up a level. hHaven't heard anything for hours. Thanks for your help.

1. Going to the IP should show green cpanel page yes

2. You would have to enabled the /~ in WHM under:
Main >> Security >> Security Center

Would you care to share the IP or the location to the site in question?

Shall we assume that the server resolves properly via DNS?

Talking Server

Hi:

First you have to create an account in your server. First thin is:
http://your.ip.number/whm or http://your.ip.number:2006 <- that's to create an account.

Then you can enter to cpanel that would be:
http://newaccountdomainname/cpanel or http://newaccountdomainname:2005

I hope this helps.
