Remote Access to MySQL ?
I was wondering what I need to do to access MySQL remotely instead of on the machine (localhost).
So that I can possibly manage my databases from a front-end application on my home computer. do they allow this on VPS? instructions on how? i have found some instructions, but they seem to vary. |

Add your IP to the "Access Hosts" section in cPanel's MySQL menu. Once that's done, you should be able to work on the database via your home computer by logging in using the IP, username, and db name.
