Stop sending me emails for the dedicated server I cancelled a month and a half ago :)

I canceled my dedicated server and downgraded to a reseller package and I am still receiving emails from the DECC telling me I have a past due invoice for the server.

I am using a different email address for my new account which is done via client.surpasshosting.com, not decc.surpasshosting.com, but I got about 20 emails in the month of June saying I didn't pay. I don't check that address often, but it was still annoying to see that they were there.

The server was alpha.hostfury.net (72.29.92.210) and the email they are being sent to (the login I used for DECC) is unforeseenfurygmail.com.

Thanks!

It looks like there really is an open invoice for this server. Please contact the Accounting department -- they should be able to discuss this for you.

I've heard people complaining about orders with surpass not actually being canceled when they are supposed to be before.

Looks like it still happens...

An invoice was generated for this server because the account was not canceled according to the steps listed in our ToS. fury should be able to work this out with Accounting.

It was resolved. Marc said that an invoice was generated even though it shouldn't have. I got one for June but not for July.

I don't know if I followed the ToS exactly, I opened a ticket for cancellation and support told me to fill out a form on the site, which I did, and Davie replied to say it was canceled as of the end of the month.

But it's all fine now! It was not automatically billed, I just got about 20 emails in the month of June saying I hadn't paid yet. :P

Always remember that there is a quick cancellation form on the website at:

Cancellation by Surpass Hosting

(This is the only valid method of canceling your services)
When your cancellation is completed, one of the representatives will reply to you with a receipt in writing.

Yeap, that's the form I used. I got a reply from Marc saying it would be canceled. But I still got an invoice. Thanks for all the replies, but this is all taken care of. It wasn't that I was BILLED for it on my credit card or anything, just that I got the invoice for it.
