my 4th downtime this week...

it seems i have been having to get my server rebooted a lot lately. i am just in the process of a reboot right now. i know there were network connectivity issues yesterday but am unsure to what extent the other down times are either with surpass or my server itself. it seems every couple of weeks i have had to do a reboot for the last couple of months. My system should be adequate.

Processor
AMD Athlon X2 DualCore 4200+
Memory
2048 MB
Drive 1
250 GB
Drive 2
250 GB
Drive 3
250 GB
Drive 4
Operating System:
CentOS 5 (64bit)
Control Panel:
cpanel
Port Speed:
100 mbit

i only have about 70 accounts on this system and 40 of them are mere placement domains. the traffic is ridiculously low for the server and this server should run without issue.

i notice just before this reboot the named failed. how do i realize if these are issues with the server itself or the network connectivity issues of surpass or a combination of both

well it seems the reboot took place and still no access to named. ill send in a support ticket.

well i tried to submit a ticket for support to get my server back online and after clicking submit i got this on the top of the page

We're checking on the SQL issue now. Could you PM me your e-mail address so I can check to see if your ticket made it in and get it handled if it hasn't already?

as a matter of fact... no. i did do a php recompile last week having 2 items added. now i dont know if that helped or what but i am at least relieved that whatever was taking the resources to constitute a reboot seems to have ceased.

well ive had to reboot twice this week again. i am pretty discouraged. i dont know how to rectify this . i am thinking it is one site that is causing the issue but dont know how to go about fixing the problem??
