Horde database connect problems (mail still works, but gives errors)

I noticed a problem with Horde on my dedi a couple days ago and was wondering if anyone has had a simlar problem.

The mail program works, but there are a lot of database errors and most of it's features don't work. The errors are like this (but not limited to):
Code:
A fatal error has occurred:
  DB Error: connect failed
  [line 108 of /usr/local/cpanel/base/horde/lib/Prefs/sql.php]
Details have been logged for the administrator.
Emmanuel emailed me today to see if everything on the server was okay (unrelated, just a follow-up) and I told him about this problem. I think I'll submit another support ticket for it soon.

Has anyone else had similar problems?

Thanks,
Frankie Benevides

this is a stab in the dark, but an error like that usually means that the code cant connect to the db properly.

usually it happens when mysql isn't running , the db doesn't exists or mysql server is coming back up.

I'd imagine this is something that I can't fix on my own, correct? I tried to "repair mail DB's" in WHM but it had no effect.

Sounds like it needs some tender loving care.

Email support with your issues. We will get you taken care of. Make sure to include your IP address, the root password, and a test mail account (with password) that you are having this problem on so we can be sure it is fixed.
