Can this be done??

i currently have a shared hosting package, is there a way if i bought a dedicated plan that all my files, mysql etc can be transfered over to my new server? other words without me having to do anything can my site act like it never switched servers?

From what I know, they should be able to do it with little is any problems. It might take a little time for them to move everything (depending on the amount of data). They did it for me, but wait for staff to answer. Of course, to get the ball rolling on this, you would need to contact supportsurpasshosting.com anyway, so you might want to ask there as well.

this is no problem whatsoever. there would be some time for the domain record to propagate but that's temporary and happens whenever you change servers.

its so easy and it takes only like 30 seconds to move your site (if its under 500mb) other wise i know a few tricks to do it quite easly

your visitors should not notice anything

am i right in thinking that no part of my site database and forum database wont be messed up in any way ? when i went to surpass from another host , it was a pain to move the database, and i lost part of it :mad3:
