thanks for all your help.
The directory is /usr/local/apache/htdocs and you have to use SFTP ssh2 port 22, not FTP port 21, logging into your IP # as the server and your username = root.

You will then be in /root so backup 1 directory and go to /usr/local/apache/htdocs.

That was it. I appreciate it. I logged in under ssh, but didn't back up one directory. Anyone having problems with Road Runners DNS? I set up my dedi and moved some sites over. Everything was working until yesterday. Now I can't get to any of my sites through Road Runner.

Give me a site url and I will see if I can get there from here.

Loads; maybe a bit slow.

Can't pass up a chance to post a picture of my car bought in 1972. Has original top and one coat of new paint.

Give RoadRunner another day to catch up on all it's servers. The nameserver being used today might not be the same as the one yesterday.

Thanks for checking. It doesn't load here at all. It's not good when i tell the clients of a server upgrade and a few days later, this happens. Luckily, the sites work if you go to a different provider.
Nice car! I just saw a Chevelle like your going up the street today. I think the client had sold it and was putting it on the truck. Thanks for your time.

She is talking about logging in through ssh as root. You will need an ssh client such as putty: http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/

SSH is sort of like the command prompt for windows
