Thumbs down [smartcheck] Hard Drive Failure Soon

Hello,

I have a ticket with the Management department (ticket # LGK-60486 created on 10/30/04), because I have emails coming from one of my servers saying:

IMPORTANT: Do not ignore this email.
You should backup all the data on the hard drives listed below and replace them as soon as possible.
S.M.A.R.T has detected that they are not peforming within normal operating paramaters.

Excessive ATA Errors on disk /dev/hda. Please consider replacing this drive. Some Errors may be normal due to not 100% compatible IDE controllers and may be ignored.

At the moment nobody gets back to me yet….

I hope some admin can take a look of this post and help me with this situation.

Thank you,

If it was created on the 30th of last month... it might have been missed whilest they were lookin at tickets... I would suggest you reply to the ticket to bump it... Or actually, since you posted the ticket ID, teq or somebody else most likely will see the ticket id an and handle it...
