Andy - You should of made a new thread under the Dedi/colo main section and not in the Dedi Admin section. So that it is know to be a "I need help". The Admin section is not really for help but awareness.

So just make a new thread and ask to have this be removed with my post as well.

No it's just that people are not going assume that if someone post in here that its for a problem, thats all I'm saying.

I belive you do. Ive installed all of the things that the Dedicated Administration Forum suggested to, because i dont think it comes with any security.

Just gotta be real careful if you dont know linux, because i dont and ive alrady locked myself out once, in the same day i got it.

I've noticed that the first set of things doesn't apply any more, as far as I can tell. There are several things listed that aren't listed in my version.

#ListenAddress 0.0.0.0
#LoginGraceTime 120
#PermitRootLogin yes
#StrictModes yes

and more aren't listed in mine. Is it possible to have this updated, as it seems to apply to an old OS.

Ok, I wasn't sure if that would screw something up. Remember, I somehow managed to crash the file system on my Fedora Core 4 machine by simply turning the computer on.
