Installing IPB

Now, CPanel/Fantastico usually has IPB 1.2 - 1.3, But If I bought the 25$ shared hosting could you install IPB 2.0.3 For me? Or am I on my own about that?

I believe you're on your own for that, but if you need any assistance with the process, us other members can give a hand.

I see it like this, For EVERY hosting service, I pay you, you help me.

Which is why I have rejected 16 paid hosting services sofar.

Well, Surpass has a great community, which can at times, offer help that Surpass itself can't. I just have doubts that an actually staff member of Surpass will install the script, but they might. Just letting you know that if you need help with installing the script, Surmunity members, like myself and many others, are willing to help. If you search around, you'll see we help with many different tasks from validating sites to PHP scripts.

IPB 2 is not a free product. If you buy the license for the 2.* series of IPB then I am sure that Surpass can install it for you. You will likely pay to have Surpass to install it though.

Your hosting agreement is for space, bandwidth and technical support only (I assume). Site creation is your responsibility.

Do I hear 17?? :^)

17? I'm going to buy the liscense, BUT, I need to buy a site from a service thatll install it for FREE.

For the record, if you purchase a license from IPB, they will install it for you, free of charge.

EDIT: They being IPB staff.
