Deciding

I've read some of the testimonials about Surpass Hosting.

...and I find that some people were having problems with servers etc.

I am going to host a fansite but I do not want any downtimes...well at least not alot.
I hope my site will always stay intact with Surpass

While Surpass can't promise absolutely no downtime I know it's rare for me. I don't even remember the last time I had a downtime.

I know that hosting companies sometime can't give 100% uptime but I think I'm impressed enough by Surpass already to purchase hosting!

Keep up the good work!

I haven't had downtime since that hurricane in Florida. But enjoy the hosting when you purchase it and welcome to Surpass.

Okay, what is the difference between an 'oc plan' and a Resellers Plan? What is with oc... is it just that you dont have as many add-on domains?

Also, take this on the Reseller page.

Quote:
Why should I choose Surpass Hosting?
You have access to the most sophisticated top of the line servers, loads of features AND one important feature we give that no one else does. We host your main website for FREE. We give you true space and bandwidth to resell. Your website doesn't take away from the space we provide you. For example, say you get the Silver plan, your website will not use up part of the 10GB of the reseller plan. Your website alone gets 10GB space aside from the 10GB you can resell. The bandwidth limit on the free, main account (on all reseller plans) is 10GB. No matter what plan you get, your free account will have 10GB of bandwidth. *Space on the main account and reseller account can not be combined and no additional domains can be hosted on the free, main account.
Does this go for the oc plans too?

oc plans are the same except that you pay yearly and there is no pay by month for them

# of add-on domains & Parked Domains
are the only difference

Okay, so why do you offer different plans exponentially of more value than others (apart from not including as many add/parked domains)?

So, just say I were to purchase the oc5, would that mean I get in total 10 GB?

oc5 is a shared hosting plan, not a reseller hosting plan. So no, you only get 5 GB space. oc10 is the reseller hosting plan. Surpass offers such a variety so that everyone can get what will best fit what they need.
